Weekly menu 12/9/24
This week there is no concrete plan. I have some ideas about what I want and I also shopped hungry…. so yeah. Last week, I decided to make chicken noodle soup on Saturday instead of the pasta I planned to make. But it was cold and that soup just hit the spot! I’m currently in my sourdough era again, so we had some bread to go with the soup and plenty of toast with Irish butter and Maldon salt last week. It’s also cozy cocktail season over here. I found a super tasty recipe on Vanilla and Bean for a cranberry orange gin smash. It’s so good! We had them while watching the boys decorate the Christmas tree on Saturday. And finally, here’s the semblance of a menu this week: Monday: Velveeta shells and cheese with Buffalo crispy chicken chunks Tuesday: Ham and Turkey subs Wednesday: something with chicken thighs… so mysterious Thursday: Orange chicken, rice and broccoli Friday: pizza? I want to make bahn mi again soon, maybe this will be the day… with fresh baguettes! ...
