Weekly Menu 11/27/23

Happy Monday! I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with all the things you are thankful for. We enjoyed the break. T helped cook tacos last week. He loves to help cook, and he helps dad make Sunday morning waffles or pancakes every week.

The day after Thanksgiving, we took a family hike at Squires Castle. Even though the boys have been here multiple times, they never remember going. They loved running around through the "castle" and had a great time on the hike. (well, G did. T was feeling a little off and struggled, poor kid.)

We stayed home for Thanksgiving Day this year. We had all the usuals, except deviled eggs bc i completely forgot to make them. I did make noodles though! I don't normally make them, I usually buy frozen noodles because the only time we eat them is at Friendsgiving and its easier to buy frozen in large quantities. But they were delicious!

And now it is snowing a little sputter of snow! Looking forward to waking up to a few inches of snow in the morning! Now here's the menu for the week:

Monday: Cheeseburgers and salad
Tuesday: Slow cooker cranberry balsamic meatballs and green beans
Wednesday: Chicken and broccoli bowls
Thursday: Slow cooker general tso's chicken, rice, and super greens (panda copy cat recipe, YUMMM!)
Friday: Pizza. I won't be home most of the evening. Helping set up for SCPTA Holiday Connection!
Saturday: TBD. Holiday Connection during the day (see the flyer below)
Sunday: Rovi Kids' Christmas Party for brunch (there better be blintzes this year!). Dinner TBD

Have a delicious week!
