8/29/22 Weekly Menu
Hey there! Happy Monday. Its time to figure out what to have again for the week. As always, let me know what you're having too because it helps me figure out future menus.
This week, we are making naan in a big batch and using the leftovers for pizza the next day. Its a really great way to use up the leftover naan and the kids love getting their own little personal pizza.
We are slowly getting back in the swing of school. New this year, my kids get to bring snacks to school (This used to be a thing, but covid changed the rules. Now it's back!). So, every morning we are scrambling to find something for snack that is healthy enough and doesn't have nuts (suggestions welcome). Last week, my kindergartener grabbed a small bag of wasabi peas and all of the cherry tomatoes we had picked the night before (that he hadn't eaten yet). And, I just hope his teacher knows that he is a very headstrong child and there was no convincing him that maybe grapes or strawberries was a better choice for a classroom snack...
